Money: Banks open from 9am to 3pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 3:30pm Friday.

Exchange money Offices (Casa de cambio):  Emerald trade center 3 blocks away from Casa Platypus. From 8 am to 5 pm.

Weather: Bogotá is the third-highest capital in South America, after La Paz and Quito. It sits at an altitude of about 2600m; at this height altitude sickness can occur. Perhaps you may feel a bit dizzy when you arrive. The city’s average temperature is 14°C year-round.
